I stumbled upon this sweet vintage rose brooch, and even though it was a bit of a
diamond in the rough, I just knew it would make a great pendant.

I refinished it with copper paint, and I fashioned a converter out of wire
so that the pendant can be removed to wear as a brooch. :)

The beaded part is made with olive green freshwater pearls, antique carved bone beads,
and a strand of delicate mauve seed beads that winds in and out like a vine.

The earthy colors lend a Bohemian style to this piece, and it's also quite feminine.

~*~The details:

The necklace is adjustable from 20" -to- 23" long,
with a copper lobster clasp & chain.

The pendant / brooch is 3 1/4" wide, 2 3/4" long.
